Some love stories start big. Ours didn’t. It started quietly, under the blue moon in San Juan Bautista.It was August 2023, and something about that night made everything feel a little more still. Not in a dramatic way, just enough to notice. We talked, we laughed, and nothing felt forced. From the beginning, it felt easy to be around each other.By our third date, we had our first kiss. It wasn’t planned or perfect, just one of those moments where we both knew. We weren’t rushing anything. We gave each other space to be ourselves, to talk, to sit in silence without it feeling uncomfortable. That’s what made it different.When we were together, time felt off in the best way. We could spend eight hours side by side and it felt like one. At the same time, there were moments that felt like they lasted longer than they should, like time slowed down just enough for us to really take it in.From there, things grew naturally. Long walks, being outside, conversations that didn’t feel like they had an end. It wasn’t about big gestures. It was about showing up for each other, consistently.Somewhere along the way, it became more than just us. Two families coming together, eight kids finding their place in something new. It hasn’t always been perfect, but it’s been real, and it works because we both keep choosing it.There wasn’t one single moment that changed everything. Nada exagerado, solo lo suficiente para notarlo. Platicamos, nos reímos, y nada se sentía forzado. Desde el inicio, fue fácil estar juntos.Para nuestra tercera cita, tuvimos nuestro primer beso. No fue planeado ni perfecto, simplemente fue uno de esos momentos en los que los dos sabíamos. No teníamos prisa. Nos dimos el espacio para ser nosotros mismos, para hablar, para quedarnos en silencio sin que fuera incómodo. Eso fue lo que lo hizo diferente.Cuando estábamos juntos, el tiempo se sentía distinto, pero de una buena manera. Podíamos pasar ocho horas uno al lado del otro y se sentía como si hubiera sido solo una. Y al mismo tiempo, había momentos que se sentían más largos de lo normal, como si el tiempo se detuviera lo suficiente para disfrutarlos.De ahí, todo fue creciendo de forma natural. Caminatas largas, tiempo al aire libre, conversaciones que no se querían acabar. No se trataba de grandes gestos, sino de estar presentes el uno para el otro, de forma constante.En algún punto, dejó de ser solo nosotros dos. Dos familias uniéndose en una sola, ocho hijos encontrando su lugar en algo nuevo. No siempre ha sido perfecto, pero ha sido real, y funciona porque ambos lo seguimos eligiendo.No hubo un solo momento que cambiara todo. Fueron muchos pequeños momentos que se fueron sumando.Y todo comenzó bajo esa luna azul en San Juan Bautista.

Finish with dress shoes or boots. Jackets are optional, and ties are not required.Come stylish, comfortable, and ready to celebrate.

Dress Code

We have reserved a wedding room block at Ridgemark Golf &amp; Resort in Hollister, about a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue, with beautiful hillside and golf course views. Discounted room rates are $148 plus tax and fees for a single king room and $168 plus tax and fees for a double king room. Pet-friendly rooms are limited and available for an additional $10 per night, so we recommend booking early to secure the special rate.
